Annelies specialises in commercial contracts, with a strong focus on the legal aspects of distribution, franchise, agency and other forms of commercial cooperation. She has built a stable practice characterised by long-term collaborations, with client relationships spanning more than 20 years. As an experienced litigation lawyer, Annelies combines available legal avenues with practical solutions. She also acts as a trusted legal adviser, serving as a regular point of contact who consults closely with clients, identifies risks at an early stage and helps prevent disputes.
Annelies works for national and international companies in a variety of sectors, including franchise chains, consumer-retail companies, and corporate exploitation of art and music.

Work experience
Annelies has been a lawyer for more than 30 years. She joined Legaltree as a partner on 1 January 2026. After first gaining ten years of experience at two large Amsterdam law firms (Van Doorne and the former Boekel de Nerée), she went on to co-found boutique legal firms. Before moving to Legaltree, Annelies was a partner at the Amsterdam-based firm Parker Advocaten (2019–2025).
