Attorney-at-law
Jacoline Gortzak has years of experience in corporate law and specialises in mergers & acquisitions and private equity transactions. She was sworn in as attorney-at-law in 2001. Since then, Jacoline has advised on dozens of transactions, including for large corporate clients, and on both sides of the table.
Specialisations
Within Legaltree, Jacoline mainly works with large and medium-sized companies, and organisations where the director is also the majority shareholder. With her wealth of experience and extended availability, Jacoline excels when she acts as sparring partner for management and shareholders. And this broad experience is the basis for the added value she provides to both buying and selling parties. She can work very effectively because Jacoline knows the ins and outs of acquisitions. What's more, she is an expert at keeping emotional aspects strictly separate from business considerations.
She works on a wide range of cases, from determining the appropriate presentation for selling companies to due diligence research, from screening contractual documents for risks and guarantees to identifying possible hiccups in the sales stage.
With some 20 years of experience, Jacoline has be practical and pragmatic. And, although this is not the most important criterion for selecting an attorney-at-law, with Jacoline Gortzak, you not only have a legal specialist, but one whose communication skills are highly praised.
