Antoinette van Beest


Antoinette van Beest-de Mul has been practising as a lawyer since 2000. She advises small and medium-sized businesses and corporate clients on all aspects of corporate law, with special focus on mergers and takeovers.


Antoinette assists buyers, sellers, companies and management throughout the entire M&A process. She acts as an advisor to both buyers and sellers. She is consequentlyable to approach matters from different angles and provide the legal advice that best serves her client’s interests. She drafts commercial and non-commercial contracts in transactions for various sectors and negotiates with parties on the legal conditions and provisions. With her many years of experience she is a valuablesparring partner for her clients.

She attaches great importance to maintaining long-term business relations with clients from different backgrounds. They greatly appreciate her loyalty and pragmatic approach, as well as her quick responsiveness and ability to relieve tensions. As a business advisor she is solution-oriented, dynamic and energetic and quickly gains her clients’ confidence. Antoinette is empathetic and social, and is clear and realistic when assessing feasibility of the matter.

Work experience

Antoinette joined Legaltree as a partner in 2018. She started her career as an M&A lawyer at the international law firm of Simmons & Simmons LLP, after which she moved on to HVG Law LLP. In her capacity as a lawyer she also gained experience as in-house legal counsel at Ageas (formerly Fortis) and Unibail-Rodamco.
