Willemijn Lever MRICS has been active as a lawyer since 2002. She specialises in tenancy law and property law.
Specialisations
in her capacity as adviser and litigator, Willemijn focuses on landlord and tenancy law and is concerned with renovation, redevelopment and transformation of office and retail space as well as residential space, short stay and unbuilt property. She also deals with issues such as lease termination, rent adjustment and substitution. Due diligence investigations are also part of her practice.
She advises her clients on issues relating to property law, including the purchase and sale of immovable property, ground leases, structures, apartment rights, easements, statutory rights and duties between neighbours and positive or acquisitive prescription/negative or extinctive prescription (fragmented green areas). In addition, Willemijn regularly conducts legal proceedings on disputes involving property.
Willemijn is particularly interested in issues at the interface between Dutch public law and Dutch civil law.
Willemijn represents a range of parties including local government bodies, water boards, property investors, care institutions, estate agents and owners' associations. Her clients value Willemijn for her expert legal knowledge and hands-on approach. Her core value is her integrity.
