Marjolein specialises in individual and collective employment law. Her clients are primarily employers, but she also regularly assists company directors and board members, employees and works councils.
Specialisations
In her consulting and litigation practice, Marjolein deals mainly with (collective) dismissal, labour disputes and illness, employment conditions and changes, transfer of undertakings and outsourcing, equal treatment and co-determination. Marjolein has particular experience with extensive and international reorganisations. In this respect, she negotiates on behalf of employers with works councils and trade unions.
Work experience
Before her move to Legaltree in September 2015, Marjolein was attorney-at-law specialising in employment law at Kennedy Van der Laan in Amsterdam for eleven years (2004-2015). During this period she predominantly advised large employers and international companies and she was often on secondment to Liberty Global and NIKE.
